Pratit has initiated an educational center in the heart of an urban slum that provides free supplementary educational services in collaboration with a local primary school. Our focus is on balancing academics with unique experiential learning activities aimed at teaching life skills. The purpose of our educational projects is to provide children the tools to ultimately attain self-reliance and thus lead their communities out of poverty.

• Students from the US work to design lesson plans, have done hands on teaching with the help of interpreters, and acted as facilitators working with local community leaders and NGOs to ensure that these educational programs were sustainable.
• The Center hosts about 30 students aged 3-16 with plans to expand the student body.
